My friend Bratislav tended to think that extraterrestrials were humanoid in that they had a head, two arms, a body, and two legs. But I opined that extraterrestrials could have different configurations, as different as octopuses and insects on our Earth.
Mia amiko Bratislavo emis pensi, ke eksterteranoj estas humanoidaj pro tio, ke ili havas kapon, du brakojn, korpon, kaj du krurojn. Sed mi opiniis, ke eksterteranoj povus havi malsamajn agordojn, same malsamajn kiel polpoj kaj insektoj sur nia Tero.
Ang aking kaibigang si Bratislav ay may tendensiyang isiping ang mga ekstraterestre ay humanoyde dahil mayroon silang ulo, dalawang braso, isang katawan, at dalawang binti. Ngunit naisip kong ang mga ekstraterestre ay maaaring magkaroon ng iba't ibang mga pagsasaayos, kasing iba ng mga pugita at mga insekto sa ating Tiyera.
