Latinos, as Hispanics, Lusitanics, Francophones, Italophones, Romanians, and others, have sometimes technophobia, as they shy away from Science (Fact), and even Science Fiction. I know that Latinos do have a sizeable audience of technocrats, as they have many Science Fiction books translated into their language. There are both technophilia and technophobia existing amongst Latinos, so people shouldn't get the wrong idea. (Technology and Engineering are Applied Science.)
